How to Have Your Happiest Holidays Yet

This is a busy time of year for many of us and, although it can feel like you're being pulled in a million directions, it's also a time to enjoy all that the season has to offer.

At Holly & Tanger, we know first hand how stressful the holiday season can be. This is one of our busiest times of year for us as a business too, so we understand how holiday planning can become overwhelming.

We've compiled a list of a few easy ways to relieve some of the seasonal stress and help you navigate this holiday season like a boss.

1. Make a Schedule & Stick to It

Things always pop up at the last minute, its inevitable this time of year. However, taking frequent looks at the month ahead and scheduling everything you need to accomplish before the year is up is important to staying on top of it all! Time flies at the end of the year, so laying out the month in advance can really help keep track of all your important dates.

2. Plan ahead

Checking things off your "To Do" list early is always helpful during the holidays. Whether it be gift shopping, the grocery list or booking travel, it's always easier to take care of your most important tasks ahead of the holiday rush. You can usually beat the crowds, and get great deals, too!

3. Prioritize What's Really Important To You

It can be hard to admit but even during this time of celebration, sometimes the best thing you can do is say "no".  Packing your schedule with holiday events, though fun in theory, can leave you stressed out and short on time to enjoy what's actually important. Choose your favorite traditions and activities carefully and don't feel guilty saying "no" to commitments that don't make the top of your list.

4. Make New Goals

As we wrap up 2018, look to 2019 to establish new professional and personal goals. Whether they be yearly or quarterly, create a loose action plan for the year to come. You'll be glad to have this ready to go when you hit the ground running in the new year!

No matter how hectic the season gets, we hope you're holidays are full of love, laughter, and cheer! From our team to you, Happy Holidays!
